Yes, I get you: processed foods are too tempting to resist! But do you know that they lack the nutrients that your body requires to function healthily? Organic food, on the other hand, has the nutrients in them preserved. Besides, they don’t taste bad, do they?

Eat plenty of fruits and vegetables, especially the dark green leafy ones. They are rich in micronutrients yet low in calories, so you can consume a lot without having to worry about your weight. Add to your diet beans, legumes, and whole grains, and eat plenty of fiber!

2. Take Vitamin C

We all know Vitamin C is key to boosting the immune system, but what we’re not familiar with is the fact that the said vitamin also plays a major role in helping the body produce glutathione, a potent antioxidant that drives away toxins. Get your daily dose of Vitamin C from fruits and vegetables!

3. Cut Back on Sugar

Decreasing the amount of sugar you take gives your organs a rest from their daily grind. Eating more sugar means your body needs to supply more insulin, straining your pancreas and tiring them out as time goes by.

Not only is it taxing for the pancreas, but this unhealthy habit can also lead to diabetes, excessive weight gain, and chronic fatigue. As much as possible, avoid any type of sweets including honey and artificial sweeteners.

To step up the game, you can slice a lemon and add the juice from the half. The lemon gives a refreshing feeling and encourages digestion, so you’ll be ready to face the day!

6. Try Apple Cider Vinegar Detox Drink

Apple Cider Vinegar is known for its weight loss and detoxifying benefits. The following recipe is a powerful detox drink that can help get rid of toxins and clear the body. To make it, prepare the following ingredients and mix them together:

  • Warm water – 1 glass
  • ACV – 2 tbsp.
  • Lemon juice – 2 tbsp.
  • Ceylon cinnamon – ¼ tsp.
  • Cayenne pepper – 1 dash
  • Ground ginger – ½ or less – makes it hard to drink
  • Raw honey – 1 tsp. (optional to add some sweetness)
