If you were asked if failure was a good thing, how many of you would raise your hands and agree?

In a world where failure is seen as a bad thing, you might agree, but would be reluctant to stand and say it to a room full of people.

We’re told failing is bad and we believe it because of how we feel when we fail. But it’s a part of life and a sign you have the courage to do what many only dream of.

Kick those negative emotions aside, like the child who is first learning to walk. He stumbles, he wobbles, he cries, but with a bit of encouragement from his parents he laughs then gets right back up.

That’s the mind of those that are successful, they are curious and just plain don’t know any better.

Take these lessons to heart to help you keep your spirits up and achieve anything you can imagine.

Life is full of potholes, traps, and bad advice that we must face constantly, even if we are not aware that we are. Fear exists in the poorest and in the richest of men/women. No man is without fear, and to face something doesn’t mean we are fearless it means we had the courage to push forward.

It takes courage to try and fail, to stand again and again to do what you set out to do. Not many can stand and be willing to take a risk or try something new when they know nothing about it.

Before, I would shake my head when the news or online articles attacked people that failed at an attempt, but now, I applaud them, because they were courage’s enough to try.

Success is not final; failure is not fatal. it is the courage to continue that counts.Winston S. Churchill

Finding the right path

No one can say they found the right path without first going down the wrong one.

When you embark on this journey to become something more, now, you can say there are many road signs, books, and advice on where to go and how to get there.

Now you can have a virtual mentor in china while you sit at home in the U.S or wherever you are.

Now, to reach a destination, all that is required is a laptop and I am grateful for that. That is how I am able to lay in bed all day and write articles. But what I want you to see is none of this would be possible without the early failures.

When they headed for their destination, there were no road maps, they left with no direction. Knowing most likely they will end up failing, but because they failed over and over, they learned from their mistakes and over time found their sense of direction.

There are no right paths, the only right path is failure and failure is a better teacher than success.

Failure creates resilience, like beating on a sword under pressure. After a few hits, it straightens, it is durable and beautiful. Different from what it started.

I know you don’t hear this much, but it is ok to fail, it is natural. The feeling of anger, disappointment, and the need to ball up and never try again, that comes with it.

The human spirit is strong, each time we get beaten down, we stand ever more strong. We seek knowledge on how to better ourselves and we become more determined to reach our goals.

“You must make a decision that you are going to move on. It won’t happen automatically. You will have to rise up and say, ‘I don’t care how hard this is, I don’t care how disappointed I am, I’m not going to let this get the best of me. I’m moving on with my life.” – Joel Osteen

The man that died received no second chance at life, but the man that failed does and failure is never permanent until you have decided to give up.

How lucky are we, to be able to try and try until we reach our goals? Nothing can be called failure unless we learn nothing from it.

Failure is a sure path to success, an advantage over those that fear to try. An opportunity we should jump at if we desire happiness.

Certain things cannot be learned from reading books, or being told by someone else. Life has many schools and many teachers, but the greatest teacher is failure.

If you want to discover your passion and what you want to do in life, try new things and dare to fail.

People don’t just wake up knowing what they want to do and how they are going to do it. The majority of us have no clue. We make bad decisions and bad relationships that hinders us until our eyes are opened by our mistakes.

If you want anything in life, fail. Fail happily, but most important is to pick yourself up, try again and learn.

There is only one thing that makes a dream impossible to achieve: the fear of failure.”
― Paulo Coelho
